I work with heart led people who have experienced grief, loss, or trauma, experiences that can leave you feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward. Whether its bereavement, estrangement, or a quiet grief unseen by others, you may feel drained, forgetful, angry, or ambivalent toward life. You might struggle in relationships, hide your true feelings, or lose joy in things you once loved. These are normal responses but you don't have to carry them alone.
About me and my practice
Together, we will gently uncover what lies beneath your feelings, help you make sense of your experience, rediscover meaning, and reconnect with your true self. I offer a warm, down-to-earth space where you can be authentic and lead the way - no need to have all the answers. My approach is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and the trusting relationship we build together. I'm mindful of how grief, loss, change, and relational trauma don't just affect your emotions, but also how they are held in your body and nervous system.
By integrating nervous system regulation techniques and parts work, alongside compassionate talk therapy, I support you in feeling more grounded, balanced, and connected. We'll explore the protective parts of yourself that show up in difficult moments and work through hidden wounds such as childhood emotional neglect. When words alone feel limiting, we can use creative and metaphorical approaches to give voice to what's hard to express.
Sessions are shaped entirely around your needs. Together, we can:
-Create breathing space when life feels overwhelming
-Ease the pressure of getting back to normal
-Make sense of your emotions and experiences
-Release habits that no longer serve you, like people-pleasing or perfectionism
-Understand how your past influences current relationships and patterns
-Rebuild kindness toward yourself and foster a sense of safety within
Many heart-led, deep-thinking clients I've worked with, leave feeling more connected to themselves, less burdened by their past, clearer about their needs, and better able to navigate life with greater self-compassion and hope.
No matter where you are on your journey, I will meet you with kindness and without judgment. Grief and trauma may be part of your story, but they don't have to define your future. You deserve peace, joy, and a life full of meaning while honouring your unique path and the resilience you've shown.
Experience
I have extensive experience supporting individuals through grief, loss, and relational trauma in both therapeutic and counselling settings. Over the years, I have worked with diverse clients, including those navigating bereavement, complex family dynamics, estrangement, and hidden forms of grief that are often overlooked. My background also includes supporting people who have experienced childhood emotional neglect, helping them recognise and heal from this subtle but deeply impactful relational trauma.
My approach is informed by a combination of evidence-based models and humanistic, person-centred principles. I draw on nervous system regulation techniques, parts work, somatic practices, and compassionate dialogue to provide holistic support that addresses the mind, body, and emotional experience. This integrative method helps clients build resilience, self-compassion, and safety within themselves.
I have worked in both individual and group settings, tailoring my approach to meet each persons unique needs and pace. Whether working with people who feel overwhelmed and stuck, or those seeking deeper insight and meaning, I create a safe, non-judgmental environment that fosters trust and authentic connection.
My professional journey includes training and qualifications in psychotherapy and counselling, with ongoing commitment to continued professional development. I have experience collaborating with healthcare providers and mental health professionals to ensure co-ordinated care when needed.
I am passionate about helping people move through grief and trauma in a way that honours their experience and supports lasting healing. Many clients have described feeling more grounded, empowered, and hopeful after working with me. It is a privilege to witness the strength and courage people bring to their healing journeys, and I am dedicated to walking alongside you every step of the way.
